Welcome to Your Holiday Home by the River

Our holiday home is idyllically located directly on the banks of the Elz River and is only about a five-minute drive from Europa-Park Rust. The Taubergießen nature reserve can also be reached within just a few minutes, as can France via the free ferry across the Rhine.

The house accommodates up to ten guests and has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, one of which includes a bathtub. Bed linen and towels are, of course, included.

From all balconies, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the green garden and the riverbank. Especially in the evening, the atmosphere here is calm and beautiful, with a lovely view of the sunset. The garden is available exclusively for your use during your stay.

The sleeping arrangement is ideal for larger families or smaller groups: three bedrooms each have a queen-size double bed, and two further bedrooms each have two single beds. In total, seven beds are available. Three bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom, while two further bedrooms share a fourth, spacious bathroom.

The holiday home has been furnished with great attention to detail and offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, induction stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and Nespresso machine. Dishes and cooking utensils for preparing shared meals are also provided. The dining table comfortably seats up to ten people.

If you prefer to eat out, there are two upscale restaurants within walking distance – “Das Schiff” and “Elsäßer Hof” in Kappel-Grafenhausen – as well as a pizzeria.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. In addition, four reserved parking spaces are available on the property.

As the house is located in a quiet residential area, parties are not permitted. We also kindly ask you to observe the quiet hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

To ensure that all guests at “Riverside 35” feel comfortable and can enjoy a peaceful and pleasant stay, we kindly ask you to observe the following guidelines.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is possible between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Check-out is until 11:00 a.m.

Maximum Number of Guests

The accommodation is intended for a maximum of 10 guests.

Quiet and Consideration

As the house is located in a quiet area, quiet hours apply from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. We kindly ask all guests to be especially considerate during this time and to help maintain a pleasant atmosphere for everyone.

Not permitted:

• Pets
• Events
• Smoking, vaporizers, and e-cigarettes
• Commercial photography and filming

Important Additional Information

We do not accept all-male groups or groups planning loud gatherings with music, drinking games, or a party atmosphere. It is important to us that all guests can enjoy a relaxed and peaceful stay with us. Please note that violations of this rule will result in a contractual penalty of €1,000.

Out of consideration for nature and for your own safety, we kindly ask you not to swim in the river and not to cross the riverbank. The riverbank is natural and sensitive. Swimming in the river may also result in a fine from the local public order office.

Please also note that our holiday home is located directly on a natural, unsecured riverbank. By making a booking, you agree to exercise the necessary caution — especially if you are travelling with children. We kindly ask you to always pay attention to the safety of all guests. You and your fellow travellers bear full responsibility for any possible damage or accidents.

„Riverside 35“ ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für einen Besuch im Europa-Park in Rust. Der Park ist in nur etwa fünf bis sechs Autominuten erreichbar. Auch Rulantica liegt ganz in der Nähe. So verbindet die Lage kurze Wege zu den wichtigsten Freizeitattraktionen der Region mit der Ruhe eines Aufenthalts am Fluss.

Auch darüber hinaus hat die Umgebung viel zu bieten. Das Naturschutzgebiet Taubergießen ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt und eignet sich ideal für Fahrradtouren, Spaziergänge, Wanderungen und Bootsfahrten. Der Kappeler Baggersee lädt ebenfalls in kurzer Distanz zum Entspannen und Verweilen am Wasser ein. Der Rhein ist schnell erreichbar, und eine kostenlose Fähre ermöglicht einen unkomplizierten Ausflug nach Frankreich.

Für Tagesausflüge bieten sich außerdem Freiburg, Straßburg und Colmar an. Von Kappel-Grafenhausen aus beträgt die Fahrstrecke nach Straßburg rund 42 Kilometer, die Fahrzeit liegt je nach Route bei ungefähr 33 bis 43 Minuten. Nach Colmar sind es rund 48 Kilometer, die Fahrzeit beträgt etwa 51 Minuten.

Auch im direkten Umfeld ist vieles schnell erreichbar: In fußläufiger Entfernung befinden sich zwei Restaurants mit gehobenem Standard, eine Pizzeria und ein Baggersee. Ein Supermarkt ist in etwa fünf Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Insgesamt verbindet „Riverside 35“ damit die Nähe zum Europa-Park mit Natur, Wasser und der Vielfalt einer besonderen Grenzregion.
